Recently, LG Electronics announced to launch full slide-out QWERTY handset - LG GW620. The phone is Android based touch-screen in India. LG GW620 mobile phone is designed to compete with Samsung i7500 Galaxy and the HTC Tattoo mobile phones.

GW620 handset comes with physical QWERTY keyboard. It has 3-inch capacitive TFT screen. The phone offers 5 megapixel cameras at the rear capable of recording Videos as well. It has QVGA resolution in video recording. Camera of LG GW620 supports geo-tagging, face detection and image stabilization features.

LG GW620 mobile phone comes with Divx files and a document viewer. The phone runs Android OS and v1.5. The phone has S-Class UI over Android. A 3.5 mm jack comes with the phone for music enthusiasts. It has 150MB of internal memory and microSD cards of up to 32GB.

In the connectivity options, LG GW620 phone supports GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP and v2.0 micro USB. The phone has 1500 mAh Li-Po battery. LG GW620 is priced at Rs. 18,990 in Indian market.

LG GW620 handset is equipped with a 528MHz frequency of Qualcomm MSM7201A processor. Android 1.6 systems are the OS of the mobile phone.

GW620 is the first Android phone of LG with 5-line QWERTY keypad. The phone is personalized with a series of apps to suit you. QWERTY keypad of the phone is just like a pocket PC. The phone offers your favourite social networking apps including Facebook and Twitter.

LG GW620 is very similar to LG KH5200 that is also an Android-based Smartphone. GW620 has as impressive looks as LG Chocolate BL40.
